How to Recycle Our Packaging
At Refreshing By Faa, we care about your well-being and the planet. That's why we've made our packaging eco-friendly and easy to recycle or compost. Here's a quick and simple guild on how to take care of it:
1. Candle Jar (Glass Jar with Metal Lid)
• Glass Jar: Once you’ve finished your candle, clean out the jar with warm soapy water. You can recycle it or, better yet, reuse it to store things like jewelry, pens, or even plants!
• Metal Lid: This can go right into your metal recycling bin. Easy!
2. Candle Box (White Paper Box)
Our candle boxes are made of paper, so you can just flatten them and toss them into your paper recycling. Simple and straightforward.
3. Packaging Box (Cardboard Box Made from Recycled Paper)
Our shipping boxes are 100% recycled and recyclable. After you’ve unpacked, flatten them and recycle with other cardboard. If they’re in good shape, feel free to reuse them for storage or shipping.
4. Packing Peanuts (Made from Corn Starch)
Our packing peanuts are super cool—they dissolve in water! You can get rid of them by simply running water over them and watching them disappear. They’re biodegradable and safe for the environment.
5. Wax Seal (Stamping Wax)
Our wax seals are beautiful and recyclable! You can peel them off and reuse them in your crafts, or just recycle them with paper products.
6. Sticky Tape (PLA-Based, Natural Rubber Adhesive)
Our sticky tape is eco-friendly too! It’s made from natural rubber and plant-based PLA. If you have a commercial composting facility nearby, toss the tape in—it will break down in 60 days.
7. Compostable Mailer
Our mailers are compostable, so once you’re done with them, just throw them in your home or commercial compost bin, and they’ll decompose naturally.
